John McDaniel of Russell Springs, Kentucky, has been collecting
antique cars since 1960. He still has the '46 Ford
Tudor he bought then. John and his lovely wife,
Mary Ann, enjoy collecting extra nice antique cars, mostly
Ford & Mercury, and showing them at both national and
regional shows.
Tom Mack Auctions has the honor of
helping the McDaniel's find new owners for at least 25
of their cars at our Auction held in Charlotte, NC at Metrolina
Expo Center October 15 & 16. These special cars
will be sold at NO RESERVE. [Read

QUALITY LODGING
Our Fall event is on Fall Nascar weekend in Charlotte. The
race events will be held in the evenings and our events
will be held during the day. Hopefully we will see
some of the race fans at our Auction & Autofest. However,
it will make lodging somewhat difficult. We have
rooms blocked at the Comfort Suites and the Hilton Garden
Inn, both of which are close to the Expo and top-quality
properties.
WE RECOMMEND VERY HIGHLY THAT YOU
MAKE YOUR LODGING ARRANGEMENTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, WHICH
MEANS NOW.
Complimentary shuttle service from host hotels to Auction
at Metrolina Expo will be provided.
(Please download the appropriate forms,
fill them out, and fax to 1-803-364-2826 )
HOW
TO BID....
Three ways to bid at Tom Mack Auctions
1. Live bidding in person-
Bidder's fee is $100.00. That fee entitles you and
a guest admittance to Auction, reserved seats, meals and
refreshments on both evenings, and a full refund
of your $100..upon the purchase of a vehicle. The
on-site Auction office will be open for bidder registration
from 8-5 on Thursday and 8:00 AM until
the Auction begins on both Friday and Saturday.
A) You may download a bidder's application, fill it out
in it's entirety, and fax it, along with a letter-of-credit to
our office prior to Monday, October 11. Fax number
is 803-364-2826. One of the ladies in the office
will call you for a credit card payment of the bidder's fee. Your
credentials will be waiting on you upon your arrival at
the Expo.
B) You may register at the Auction site as well. Please
bring a letter-of-credit from your bank. A sample
of the letter is available on the website. You may
fill out the bidder's application and pay the bidder's
fee at the Auction site. This is more time
consuming than A above, but will work. If you choose
to pay for your purchases in cash and not involve a bank,
there will be a $1,000 deposit required. This deposit will
be returned to you if you do not purchase any vehicles. You
will then get your bidding credentials, meal tickets, and
reserved seating.
There is a 5% Buyer's premium on vehicles purchases and
a 12% buyer's premium on memorabilia items.
2. Phone bidding
The registration process is the same as bidding in person,
but needs to be completed by Monday, October 11. The
bidder's fee of $100 applies to phone bidder as well. Download
bidder's application, fill out, and fax to our office
at 803-364-2826. Please let us know which vehicles(s)
you are interested in bidding on. We may require
a cash deposit of 10% of the projected value of these vehicles
to be credited upon your purchase or refunded if you do
not purchase. We will have a professional bidder's
assistant call you when those vehicles are being auctioned,
and you may bid as if your were there live. If you
are the successful bidder, we require bank transfer of
the funds on Monday, October 11. We will warehouse
your purchases at your expense until you can arrange pickup
and delivery and will be able to coordinate that for you.
There will be a 5% Buyer's premium on vehicle purchases.
3. On-Line bidding
Please contact Real Time Bid at www.realtimebid.com or
phone their offices at 407-705-2296. There is a 5%
buyer's premium on vehicle purchases plus an
additional 2% premium for on-line purchases.
